Nine Oaks has three carp lakes: a one-acre main lake, a half-acre House pool, and a tiny Novices pool. We have Carp into the mid - twenties, but we are not a "big Carp" lake; if you are looking for large Carp, this is not the place for you.

However, if you like a relaxing day of fishing with lots of Carp weighing 12 pounds and above, you won't find a finer site.

This venue does not fish well with hefty "big pit" gear and 10lb+ lines. Light tackle, a tiny float, floating bread, floating dog biscuits, or other baits, or bottom fishing may all result in some amazing action.

Baits like as luncheon meat, paste, pellets, miniature boilies, floating or sinking dog biscuits, and maggots are also effective.

Cockles, muscles, and prawns (not in preservative) are also great baits, as are spicy baits such as luncheon meat with turmeric or curry powder fished on the bottom or in a ledger pattern. Use black slugs as bait in the late summer.
